President Pardon's NC Grown Turkey
This year's National Thanksgiving Turkey was presented to President Obama the week of November 23rd. As Chairman of the National Turkey Federation (NTF), NCPF President Walter "Gator" Pelletier had the honor of presenting the turkeys to the President. This years bird's were raised by Goldsboro Milling growers Debbie and Bryant Worley in Wayne County, North Carolina.
After the birds were pardoned in the traditional Rose Garden ceremony, the birds were flown to Disneyland to live out their lives in California.
