Wayne Farms supports N.C. homeless shelter with $5K gift
Wayne Farms announced a donation of $5,000 from its Wayne Farms Dobson operation to help Shepherd’s House, a social service agency that provides basic lodging and meals for homes individuals and families in Dobson, N.C. The poultry processor also is becoming part of the “Jobs First” program at Shepherd’s House, offering training and plant positions to homeless adults, Wayne Farms said in a news release. That program even provides transportation to and from the job site, the company added.
