Passion, Poultry, and a lot of Firsts
Dannica Wall never imagined she'd make history one day. But the NC State University graduate student and staff member did just that in spring 2022 when she became the first Black female at NC State to earn a Ph.D. in poultry science. Her work in poultry production has taken her throughout North Carolina and overseas to Senegal. For this graduate, more firsts are on the horizon.
