Hurricane Florence Relief efforts


Groundbreaking on NCDDA&CS Agricultural Sciences Center

Bob Ford, NC Poultry Federation Executive Director (7th to R. ), participated in a press announcement by NC Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services Commissioner Steve Troxler (5th to R.) and NC Farm Bureau President Larry Wooten (4th to R.) to encourage volunteers to help rebuild family neighborhoods from the recent Hurricane Florence devastation in 20 eastern NC counties. Participants in the press conference included volunteers from the NC Men’s Baptist Association and Samaritan's Purse based in NC. The NC Poultry Federation along with US Poultry & Egg Association has also provided much needed financial help to families in the poultry industry that have been directly affected by the impact of the storm.
